This low, spreading Juniper creates magnificent ground cover for rockeries, borders or as an individual specimen plant. The sweeping branches of Juniperus squamata 'Blue Compact' are densely covered with blue-green needles that bring colour, structure, and interest to planting schemes throughout the year. This tough and reliable conifer is undemanding and easy to grow - the perfect choice for a low maintenance garden. Height: 50cm (20”). Spread: 200cm (78”).

Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
