Hemerocallis ‘Longfield’s Black Magic’ is a reliable, easy to grow perennial with a neat, clump-forming habit. The dark flower colour makes this a great accent plant among paler varieties, bringing contrast and theatre to sunny borders. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 60cm (24").

How to Grow
Plant bareroot daylilies at the earliest opportunity following delivery in moist, well drained, fertile soil, and situated in full sun. Growing hemerocallis plants in dry soils or shaded conditions may reduce the number of flowers produced.
More Info
For the best performance keep day lily plants well watered whilst they are in flower and deadhead faded daylily flowers regularly. In autumn remove any old, ragged foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost around the base of daylily plants.
