Flowering Months

A well loved variety, best known for its compact growth and free flowering habit. Unlike many traditional Digitalis, Foxglove 'Foxy' flowers in its first year from sowing - let it seed about your borders and you will see a host of upright flower spikes in no time at all! This lovely cultivar produces a blend of harmonious pink and white blooms which are loved by pollinating insects and make excellent cut flowers for a vase indoors. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 60cm (24").

How to Grow

Although foxgloves prefer a fertile, moist soil, they will happily tolerate almost any soil except those that are excessively dry or waterlogged.

Water foxglove plants regularly until fully established. Foxgloves self-seed freely. If seedlings are not wanted, deadhead stems of foxglove flowers as the blooms fade. In autumn, cut back old stems to encourage plenty of new side shoots.
