Description

Thought you didn’t have space to grow dahlias? Think again! Dahlia ‘Happy Days Cream’ is a compact dwarf variety that was bred with pots, window boxes and small beds in mind. Creamy white flowers with a golden centre positively pop against the backdrop of stunning, deep purple-bronze foliage. Flowering from June to September, this bushy dwarf dahlia is great for cutting and will attract bees and butterflies to your garden. Height: 30cm (12in). Spread: 25cm (10in).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Plant dahlias outdoors after all risk of frost has passed. Choose a sunny position in moist, rich, fertile but well drained soil.
More Info
Feed and water dahlias regularly throughout the growing season. While dahlia plants are still young, pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage bushier growth and masses of flowers. Deadhead faded dahlia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Bedding dahlia are generally grown as annuals, however dahlia tubers may be lifted in autumn and stored over winter in trays of peat or sand, in a cool but frost free position if required. They can be potted up the following spring.
