A variegated sport of 'Heavenly Blue', Caryopteris x clandonensis 'White Surprise' makes a showy addition to borders. The grey-green leaves are edged with gleaming white margins, creating an eye-catching focal point throughout the summer. From August into Autumn, lavender blue flowers fill the tips of each stem, attracting bees and other pollinators to their late season nectar. This rounded deciduous shrub is compact and easy to grow - perfect for sunny borders and wildlife areas. Height and spread: 100cm (39").

Grow Caryopteris plants in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. In very cold areas, where summers are cool and winter temperatures fall below -15C, plant near a warm, sunny wall.
More Info In spring each year, trim back the previous year’s flowered stems to within 2 or 3 buds of the woody framework.
