Description
Carex oshimensis ‘Everest’ provides all year-round colour and texture with its stunning variegated foliage and its glossy green arching leaves with a silvery-cream edge. Being an ornamental grass, it is low maintenance and easy to care for, just plant in fertile, moist, and well-drained soil as well as a spot where it can get full or partial sun. It is perfect to provides contrast to its surroundings if planted with flowering plants, gravel, or mulch. Ideal for smaller gardens such as city or courtyard gardens but is also popular with cottage gardens in borders or patio containers. Height 30cm (12“) and spread 35cm (14“).

How to Grow
Plant Carex into any moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Brilliant for patio containers, mixed with flowering plants. Use a John Innes no. 3 soil mixture when planting into pots.

Carex are very easy to maintain; simply comb our any dead and browning foliage during the summer. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Sedge in Spring.
