Description
There are few perennials that can match the vibrant colours of this Daisy in autumn! Aster dumosus 'Tonga' forms a neat dome of slender green foliage that becomes smothered in glowing purple blooms from late August to October. With a compact, dwarf habit it is ideal for edging perennial borders or filling patio containers. Undemanding and easy to grow, it needs little maintenance throughout the year. Height and spread: 30cm (12”).

How to Grow
Plant Daisy plants into fertile, moist, well drained soil, and situate them in full sun or semi shade. Add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting.

Feed and water frequently throughout the summer to ensure an endless supply of flowers. Deadhead faded aster flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
