Andromeda polifolia 'Compacta' is a very hardy, evergreen shrub that forms dense round cushions of green linear foliage which resembles that of Rosemary. From May to June, it bears clusters of small, clear pink. nodding, bell-shaped flowers which are highly attractive to beneficial pollinators. RHS Award of Garden Merit. Height: 20cm (8in). Spread: 30cm (12in).

How to Grow

Grow in acidic soil in full sun to partial shade. Water well until established. This is a low maintenance plant which requires no special care and is rarely bothered by pests or diseases.
