Tulip Crown Mix is a flamboyant mix of parrot and crown type tulips, boasting elaborately fringed, ruffled and fluted petals. This frothy mix of white, pinks and deep purple will inject the garden landscape with spring frivolity! Height: 40cm- 50cm (16-20in). Spread: 10cm (4in).
Tulip Crown Mix contains the following varieties:
- Tulip ‘Crown of Negrita’ – Deep purple
- Tulip ‘Crown of Dynasty’ – Candy pink with a white base
- Tulip ‘White Liberstar’ – Brilliant white
- Tulip ‘Silver Parrot’ – White petals with fringed, pink margins and unusual variegated foliage with white edges.

Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn. Tulips will grow well in any moist, well drained soil, except for particularly wet soils. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds. When planting tulip bulbs avoid shallow planting as this may reduce the winter cold period that is essential for tulip bulbs to produce flowers in spring. Plant them at a depth of 15cm (6") and at a distance of 13cm (5") apart.
More Info After flowering, deadhead the faded tulip flowers and allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in summer. Caution: Tulip bulbs are an irritant to skin and eyes, and are harmful if eaten.
