There’s no need for blight to threaten your crops, with Tomato 'Crimson Plum'. This is the first blight resistant variety developed specifically for outdoor cropping. Tomato 'Crimson Plum' produces good crops of ‘Roma’ style fruits throughout the summer. The red skinned fruits have a lovely oval shape, with firm, meaty flesh and an intensely rich flavour.
This grafted cordon variety is perfect for containers or planters outdoors or in the greenhouse and copes well with periods of wet weather. Height: 200cm (79"). Spread: 50cm (20").
Companion planting: Try growing tomatoes with French marigolds to deter whitefly, and basil, chives or mint to deter aphids and other pests.
