Description
Part of the 'Popsicle Series', this exotic looking Kniphofia produces its orange and yellow flower spikes over a particularly long period. From June to October the prolific blooms rise above clumps of evergreen grassy foliage. Red Hot Poker 'Papaya Popsicle' is a compact dwarf variety that will easily fit into the smallest borders. Kniphofia are reliable perennials with a tough disposition and good drought resistance. Height: 35cm (14"). Spread: 40cm (16").

How to Grow
Plant red hot poker plants in a sunny or semi-shaded position, in any rich, fertile, well drained soil.

Water regularly until fully established. Cut back faded red hot poker flower heads in autumn. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of torch lilies in spring every to maintain their vigour.
