Leycesteria is an easy to grow deciduous shrub, which is hardy and quick-growing. The arching stems of Leycesteria 'Golden Lanterns' carry golden leaves which are soft to the touch, and joined by dangling maroon and white blooms in the summer, which are followed by purple-black berries.
Pheasant Berry plants are useful for coastal gardens, woodland gardens or dry areas and make an attractive addition to wildlife gardens, attracting birds to their autumn berries. Height and Spread: 2m (6.5').

Grow Pheasant Berry in well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Plants will tolerate a wide range of soils, from sand to chalk and clay, and can be remarkably drought tolerant.
More Info Leycesteria plants are low-maintenance and easy to grow. Prune back hard each spring to keep plants within their available space and encourage new, colourful growth.
