Description

Easy to grow deciduous shrub, which is ideal for beginners, small gardens or traditional cottage garden borders. Also known as the Japanese Rose, Kerria is elegant, spreading and offers simple, gleaming blooms in golden-yellow.

Kerria shrubs are robust, arching and fill gaps in borders quickly and easily; they're also perfect in a woodland setting. Kerria japonica 'Golden Guinea' is one of the easiest shrubs to grow. Height: 2m (6',5"). Spread: 2.5m (8').

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Kerria in any well-drained, fertile, well drained soil in sun or partial shade. An excellent choice for woodland borders.
More Info
Cut back Kerria plants to the base each year after flowering. Hard pruning encourages showy sprays of bright blooms every year.
