Description

Low maintenance, colourful and wildlife friendly, Hebe ‘Magic Summer’ has plenty to offer and demands very little in return - perfect of you’re looking for a reliable, undemanding shrub for year-round interest. This variety provides a colour show which changes through the seasons, starting in spring when the new foliage growth emerges a ruby-red colour. Towards summer the young leaves mature to a soft grey-green colour with cream edges, followed by a profusion of mauve flowers which last all the way through to autumn, also attracting bees, butterflies and other pollinators. This bushy evergreen with dense foliage maintains a neat shape all year round, acting as a structural highlight in borders or containers. Height: 60cm (24”). Spread: 60cm (24”).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

More Info
Water well after planting. Once established Hebe plants require little maintenance other than an occasional trim after flowering to maintain the shape of the plant.
