Description

Cordon

‘Guiletta’ F1 is a grafted Italian plum tomato giving high yields of large, juicy fruit from July to September. Tomato ‘Guiletta’ was a star performer in our trials and boasts strong resistance to a range of diseases. With excellent fruit set even in cool conditions, these tasty tommies are ideal for frying, slicing or sauce-making!

With our range of grafted rootstock tomatoes, we make commercial techniques available to the home grower. Grafted rootstocks give bigger, more vigorous plants with better disease resistance and higher, earlier yields.

Height: 200cm (79in). Spread: 50cm (20in).

Tip: try inter-planting tomatoes with basil or marigolds to deter pests such as whitefly.

How to Grow

Transplant into larger pots or beds in a greenhouse or sunny spot on the patio. Remove side-shoots to promote growth of a single, strong main stem, which should be staked and tied in. Removing excess foliage will encourage ripening. Note – grafted tomatoes are not suitable for grow bags.
