Description

Greenhouse/Outdoor Type

Climb this cucumber in traditional style or leave it to tumble prettily from a basket or container! When you get a snack-attack on the patio you can pluck the sweet, 8-10cm fruits of Cucumber ‘Hopeline’ straight from the vine. How to Grow

Pot up young plants and grow them on until they are large enough to be transplanted. Maintain a minimum temperature of 15c (60F). Ensure that you grow Cucumber ‘Quick Snack’ in bright light and keep the compost moisture but not wet, to allow the fruit to mature.

Provide some support for your ‘Quick Snack’ cucumber to keep it upright and pinch out the plant when it reaches the top of the supports.

For best flavour, harvest the fruit when it is 1.5 to 2.5 in./4 to 6 cm long.

More Info
Water cucumbers regularly. Harvest regularly to encourage, long continuous production. Pick the fruits whilst young and tender before they show signs of producing seeds, as older fruits can become bitter.
