It may be small, but Chilli ‘Galaxy Red’ is out of this world! This petite chilli is perfectly sized for growing on your kitchen window sill. Packing in masses of little red fruits close to the central stem, the plants remain nice and compact so the chillies won’t get knocked or damaged when you close the blinds. The glossy red fruits each weigh 15-25g each and have a long shelf life. Measuring only around 2500 on the Scoville scale, their mild flavour makes them suitable for a wide range of everyday dishes. Height: 30cm (12in). Spread: 25cm (10in).

Chilli peppers may be grown undercover in a greenhouse or polytunnel, or grown outdoors in a sheltered position in full sun. Small varieties can also be grown on a sunny kitchen windowsill. Pot up young plants and grow them on in warm frost free conditions. When plants are well grown transplant them into grow bags and containers, or plant them in well prepared beds of fertile, well drained soil. When growing chilli peppers outdoors, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days prior to transplanting them. Space pepper plants at a distance of 50cm (20") apart.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
