Description

Ornamental grass are useful for sunny borders or shady corners, where the shiny leaves can easily brighten up a dark corner.

Evergreen Carex 'Variegata' can be used in rock gardens, as border edging or in mixed patio pots, it particularly looks good with Pansies and Violas. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 35cm (14").

How to Grow
Plant Carex into any moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Brilliant for patio containers, mixed with flowering plants. Use a John Innes no. 3 soil mixture when planting into pots.

Carex are very easy to maintain; simply comb our any dead and browning foliage during the summer. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Sedge in Spring.
