Flowering Months Harvest Months
If possible, blueberries should be watered with rainwater because the lime contained in tap water will reduce the acidity in the soil over time. Blueberries will begin to produce fruit in their third year. As fruits begin to develop, cover the plants with netting to protect the berries from birds. From their third year, begin to prune out the oldest stems each autumn to promote new growth and maintain a healthy plant framework.

Culinary: The fruit of Blueberry 'Brigitta' are particularly suitable for freezing.

Blueberries require a well drained, acid soil in a sunny or semi shaded position. In areas where acid soil does not naturally occur, grow blueberry plants in patio containers using a mix of ericaceous compost and John Innes No. 3.

Very pleased 2014-03-04

Bought last spring, two of them even fruited (tiny amount though) in the summer. They have grown larger a lot and are full of flower buds. Pretty and promising!

T&M replied on 2014-04-04: Thank you for your review. I hope we can continue to be of service.

Good value 2010-06-10

Notoriously difficult to cultivate and not all plants take so was delighted when all 3 plants ordered in the 9cm pot option arrived in September 2009 and when planted in 18" pots, all three of them took. It usually takes two years before fruiting so can't comment on this yet but so far so good.

Thriving! 2010-06-10

These really healthy little plants arrived earlier this year, and 4 months on are growing so well that I have had to re-pot them twice already. Am looking forward to a great crop in the spring, and for many years to come.
