Description
This reliable little perennial brings cottage garden charm to herbaceous borders with a cheery display of late spring blooms. Skyward-facing, purple and white flowers are borne in clusters upon slender, upright stems. This pretty Columbine is tough and resilient, seeding about happily, and popping up year after year. Like all Columbines, it is loved by pollinating insects and also makes a dainty cut flower! Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 45cm (18").

1 x 1 litre potted aquilegia plant (63844)
2 x 1 litre potted aquilegia plants (T63845P)

How to Grow
Grow aquilegias in a sun or part shade in fertile, moist, well drained soil.
More Info
Columbines hybridize readily, be aware that any self-sown seedlings may not come true to type. If seedlings are not wanted, deadhead faded aquilegia flowers to prevent them self seeding. Aquilegias dislike disturbance but overcrowded clumps may be lifted and divided in spring when necessary.
