Named after a sweet Dutch pastry, the candy colours of Tulip ‘Tom Pouce’ make it look good enough to eat! A lemon base is topped by icing-pink petals to create a delicious confection. These glowing tulips make an exciting addition to beds, borders and containers. Carried on sturdy stems, they will last up to 10 days in a vase. Height: 50cm (20in). Spread: 10cm (4in).

Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn. Tulips will grow well in any moist, well drained soil, except for particularly wet soils. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds. When planting tulip bulbs avoid shallow planting as this may reduce the winter cold period that is essential for tulip bulbs to produce flowers in spring. Plant them at a depth of 15cm (6") and at a distance of 13cm (5") apart.
More Info After flowering, deadhead the faded tulip flowers and allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in summer. Caution: Tulip bulbs are an irritant to skin and eyes, and are harmful if eaten.
