Osmanthus heterophyllus ‘Goshiki’ forms a dense shrub with a rounded habit that tolerates clipping into topiary shapes, hedges and screens. The shiny, holly-likes leaves are marbled with shades of green and cream and often tinged with pink when young. The glossy foliage makes a fine backdrop for clusters of small but powerfully scented white flowers in spring. The flowers are sometimes followed by blue-black berries that are attractive to birds.
