Myosotis scorpioides is better known as the Water Forget-Me-Not. From June to September this hardy perennial is a magnet for pollinating insects. Rounded pink buds open to reveal starry, sky-blue flowers with distinctive golden eyes. Myosotis scorpioides is a charming British native with a low, spreading habit - a superb choice for damp wildlife areas, bog gardens and water margins. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 120cm (48"). Planting depth: Zones 1, 2 & 3 to 20cm (8") below water level.

How to Grow
Grow this moisture loving Myosotis in boggy soils or submerged in the margins of ponds with the crown to a maximum depth of up to 20cm (8") below water level. Choose a position in sun or semi-shade.
More Info
The stems of Myosotis can be cut back as and when necessary to control excessive growth. However, avoid cutting back the stems in autumn. They will turn black, but if left intact will produce shoots in the following spring which will become new plants.
