Description
Pennyroyal Mint is traditionally used to make a refreshing, aromatic tea. This hardy, ground hugging perennial, has pungent peppermint scented leaves when crushed. Throughout summer, the pretty lilac blooms make a pretty display, attracting pollinating insects to the garden. Mentha pulegium thrives in moist soils, romping through the front of sunny borders or paddling at the edge of ponds. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 50cm (20"). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 5cm (2") below water level.

Culinary Herb note: Some parts of these plants are edible and can be used as herbs to add flavour and colour to your meals. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
