Leyland Cypress 'Castlewellan' makes a dense evergreen tree that responds well to training and provides year round colour. The feathery golden foliage is accompanied by small round cones in summer. This conifer is easy to maintain as a topiary plant, but will require regular trimming to maintain its shape.
Supplied as tall shaped plants, these potted plants are perfect for framing doorways, adding structure to borders, or positioning around the patio.

Plant Leyland Cypress trees into any well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. The soil can be acid, alkaline or neutral. Plants will also tolerate exposed conditions.
More Info Leyland Cypress topiary specimens are simple to keep in shape, but will require clipping 2 or 3 times per year. When pruning conifers, always cut plants back to healthy green shoots. Avoid cutting into old wood, as this unlikely to re-sprout. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
