Flowering Months

This spreading, mound-forming shrub has a dense, branching habit making an attractive evergreen for sunny borders. From late spring to mid-summer, Hebe 'Garden Beauty Blue' produces a profusion of rich violet-blue flowers. The short flower spikes remain over a long period, without fading, making a lovely feature for a mixed planting scheme. Like all Hebes, it attracts pollinating insects and makes a useful choice for coastal locations. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 70cm (28").

How to Grow

Grow Hebe plants in moist, well drained, light sandy soil. Avoid planting Hebes on acid soils. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade and sheltered from strong winds.

Water well after planting. Once established Hebe plants require little maintenance other than an occasional trim after flowering to maintain the shape of the plant.
