A new innovative vertical garden system, its unique fish scale pattern of planting pods is just the start of the innovation in both form and function. The individual pots allow for the use of plant specific growing mediums and the easy replacement of individual plants. Sustainability: The pods are made from 100% recycled plastics. Water Efficiency: independent tests have shown the SkALE™ system to be one of the most water efficient on the market - using as little as 1.2 litres per square metre per day. The internal resevoir enhances its drought tolerance. This starter kits covers 52 x 52cm when set up as a square. 12 x SkALE Pods The patented SkALE Pods are suitable for almost all species of plants as they are planted in a natural orientation, allowing plants to grow in their natural geotropic way. Each plant is grown in its individual pot, enabling each to grow in the most appropriate planting medium. This also provides full control over the selection of plants; for colour, shape, size and flowering times. Plants can also be easily changed, allowing seasonal variation. Each pot holds 700cc of compost and 50ml of water, separated by a water absorbent membrane. Each pot has a facility for automatic irrigation, enabling the system to be water efficient. It can span vast areas with limited fixing points making it ideal for more problematic jobs such as glassed areas, heritage walls, open spaces as well as offering the flexibility to be curved and shaped to suit. 6 x Twin Wall Fixing Plates The Yin to the Pod’s Yang.
