A peanut feeder is a great addition to a wildlife friendly garden, as it can help attract birds such as blue tits. Peanuts are a great source of protein and are full of nutritional oils. They are especially important during winter and early spring as this is when natural food sources are scarce.
This plastic peanut bird feeder is made from 1/4" square stainless steel mesh, and it has 2 hooped perches to help the birds access the food. It has a 350g capacity and has a lift-off domed lid to keep the contents dry, and makes the feeder easy to fill. The base clips off, so it can easily be emptied and cleaned. The built in handle, means it can be hung from a bird table, tree branch etc.
