How to Grow
With a bushy, multi-stemmed habit, Deutzia x hybrida 'Perle Rose' makes an attractive medium-sized shrub for a sunny border. The pale pink flowers are edged in frosty white, making an eye-catching early summer display. The light green spring foliage deepens to darker green throughout the summer creating a pleasing backdrop for summer-flowering perennials. Like all Deutzia, it can be cut back after flowering to maintain a neat appearance. Height and spread: 150cm (59”).

Grow Deutzia in any moist, fertile, well drained soil in full sun.
More Info Feed and water Deutzia plants regularly until fully established. Once established, Deutzia shrubs will require little attention. After flowering, cut back the flowered shoots to a pair of healthy buds. On mature plants, remove a fifth of the oldest shoots from the base of the plant. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or other organic matter around the base of the plant after pruning.
