Description
A breeding breakthrough with this new Deutzia introduction highlighted by its profusion of bicoloured cream white and pink flowers in spring through early summer. The plant habit is dwarf and compact and superb in a patio pot, or at the front of a sunny border. Provides a superb display if grown in a group in a sunny site. Deutzia prefers neutral to alkaline soil, a sunny site will provide optimum flower quality but a dappled shade area would suffice. Hardy, deciduous, dwarf shrub, whose leaves turn shades of burgundy during the autumn. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Deutzia in any moist, fertile, well drained soil in full sun.
More Info
Feed and water Deutzia plants regularly until fully established. Once established, Deutzia shrubs will require little attention. After flowering, cut back the flowered shoots to a pair of healthy buds. On mature plants, remove a fifth of the oldest shoots from the base of the plant. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or other organic matter around the base of the plant after pruning.
