Packing a terrific punch with endless vivid blooms, Dahlia 'Lubega Power Burgundy' boasts huge, fully double flowers in deep cerise, produced en masse throughout summer and well into autumn with regular deadheading. The flowers are held on robust, short stems which have an upright, branching habit. This vigorous, floriferous yet compact cultivar is ideal for patio pots and filling gaps in borders. Height and spread: 60cm (24in).

Plant dahlias outdoors after all risk of frost has passed. Choose a sunny position in moist, rich, fertile but well drained soil.
More Info Feed and water dahlias regularly throughout the growing season. While dahlia plants are still young, pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage bushier growth and masses of flowers. Deadhead faded dahlia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Bedding dahlia are generally grown as annuals, however dahlia tubers may be lifted in autumn and stored over winter in trays of peat or sand, in a cool but frost free position if required. They can be potted up the following spring.
