Description
Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Kamarachiba' is a low growing shrub with a wider spreading habit. It is lovely in rock gardens and borders where it can provide the garden with all year round colours of green and golden yellow tones. It is a low maintenance and easy to care for shrub where no pruning is required unless you are trimming to keep a neat hedge for example. Height 45cm (18”) and spread 100cm (39”).

How to Grow
Grow Cypress trees in moist, well drained soil. Chamaecyparis prefers a neutral or acid soil but does tolerate chalky soils well. Choose a position in full sun.
More Info
Once established, Cypress trees require virtually no maintenance. When grown as a hedge, prune Chamaecyparis at any time between late spring and early autumn, taking care not to prune into older wood.
