Description
Commonly known as Bog Pimpernel, this British native hardy perennial forms mats of tiny evergreen leaves that will carpet the edge of ponds and bog gardens. From late spring to mid-summer, a profusion of small, cup-shaped dusky pink flowers appear, only opening completely in full sun. Anagallis tenella is a spreading marginal aquatic, thriving in boggy soil and very shallow water at the edge of ponds. Height: 10cm (4"). Spread: 40cm (16"). Planting depth: Zone 1 & 2 to level with the water surface.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

More Info
Bog Pimpernel needs little maintenance throughout the year. If necessary, trim foliage in autumn to contain the plant within its allotted space.
