Flowering Months
Description
While most plants lay dormant over winter, these spectacular shrubs burst into bloom in a riot of colour and fragrance. Our Winter Collection is the perfect way to keep your garden looking colourful, even during the darkest months. The collection combines 3 reliable and easy to grow varieties that will lift your spirits, adding colour, structure and interest to mixed borders.

The Winter Shrub collection comprises:
Mahonia x media 'Winter Sun' - Long, slender racemes of bright yellow, richly fragrant flowers are borne in dense clusters of arching racemes from November to March. Bunches of spherical purple berries follow through the summer. Height and spread: 4m (13').
Viburnum x bodantense 'Dawn' - Masses of richly perfumed blooms are produced on bare, woody stems. The dark pink flowers fade slowly to white before giving way to small, rounded, purple berries in summer. Height: 3m (10'). Spread: 2m (8').
Sarcococca confusa - An easy to grow shrub, with flowers which might be inconspicuous, and hide beneath the leathery foliage, but you won't miss their powerful, honey-like fragrance. The flowers are followed by black berries, which stay on the plant for a long time. Height: 2m (6.6'). Spread: 1m (39").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
