Description
Plant this daring duo in patio pots and borders for a dramatic spring display. Few Tulips pack quite the same punch as these brazen beauties, with their flame-licked, chalice-shaped blooms. Our Tulip ‘Flaming Duo’ includes the varieties ‘Grand Perfection’ and ‘Helmar’ which make the perfect partnership. Like all Tulips they make fabulous cut flowers for a dynamic spring bouquet. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 20cm (8"). Supplied as bulbs.

Culinary information: Some parts of these flowers are edible. However, some people have had strong allergic reactions to tulip flowers. If touching them causes a rash, numbness etc. then tulip flowers should not be eaten. For more details about edible flowers click here.

How to Grow
Bulbs should be planted in late autumn, with the pointed end facing upwards, at a depth of approximately 3 times their height. Make sure that they are planted deep enough - shallow planting may prevent the bulbs receiving the necessary winter cold period that is essential for them to produce flowers in spring. Choose a sunny position in moist, free draining soil.
More Info
After flowering, allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in June or July.
