Description
An attractive Globeflower bearing semi-double, orange blooms in early summer above clumps of finely cut foliage. This moisture-loving hardy perennial thrives in damp borders, woodland edges and bog gardens bringing a bright splash of colour and a carefree spreading habit to planting schemes. Trollius chinensis 'Golden Queen’ has been awarded a coveted RHS AGM for its excellent garden performance. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 50cm (20").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

1 x 1 litre potted trollius plant (KA6384)

How to Grow
Grow Trollius in moist, fertile soil which doesn’t dry out in summer. Globeflowers particularly enjoy a heavy soil, making them useful in areas of heavy clay. Choose a position in sun or semi shade.
More Info
Feed and water Trollius plants regularly until established. After the first flush of flowers, cut Globeflower plants back hard to encourage more blooms to be produced. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Trollius in spring to maintain their vigour.
