Description
This exotic Bromeliad boasts an upright rosette of foliage, forming a tall ‘vase’ of arching leaves which collects rain water in its natural jungle habitat. With maturity Tillandsia dyeriana 'Cancun Orange' produces stiff, arching stems of bright orange flowers that last for months. Like other Bromeliads, Tillansia will die back after flowering, being replaced by new plants that grow from the base of the original plant. This tropical beauty is ideal for creating a showy focal point in your home. Perfect for a bright spot in a warm, humid room. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 30cm (12").

Please note: Some houseplants are toxic or harmful to pets if ingested. If you believe your pet has consumed a poisonous plant then seek veterinary attention immediately. Take a sample of the plant with you.

How to Grow
Bromeliads enjoy a warm, bright room with good humidity and a minimum temperature of 15C (60F). Position them in good light away from the direct glare of the sun. The crown of Tillandsia should contain some water at all times - this is best achieved by spraying the foliage with rain water which will then drain into its leafy central vase.
More Info
Water frequently to maintain evenly moist compost. Reduce watering during the winter months, but do not allow the compost to dry out completely. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth. Bromeliads will benefit from regular misting to increase humidity.
