Description

A unique Silene featuring strongly variegated leaves. Silene ‘Valley High’ forms low mounds of ground-covering foliage with bold green centres and contrasting creamy margins. From June, clusters of bright pink flowers are held on long stalks well above the foliage. It’s an excellent candidate for edging the front of a border, pathway or rock garden where it thrives in dry, low nutrient soils, providing all-season interest. Height and spread: 35cm (14in).

How to Grow
Plant silene on well drained, neutral to alkaline soil, in full sun or dappled shade. Avoid planting in soils that are excessively wet in winter.
More Info
Water silene plants regularly until they are fully established. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps in spring.
