Description

This colourful House Leek produces blood red rosettes of fleshy foliage that form radiating clumps over time. Sempervivum arachnoideum 'Coral Red' is a strong growing variety with a vigorous root system that allows it to spread as colourful ground cover. Unlike many varieties it retains its vibrant colour throughout the year making this a fabulous succulent for drawing the eye. Sempervivum arachnoideum 'Coral Red' is appealing as it is versatile! Perfect for rockeries, gravel gardens, alpine troughs and containers. You can even grow this hardy plant on the windowsill indoors! Height: 10cm (4"). Spread: 15cm (6").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Houseleeks require extremely good drainage. Grow sempervivum plants in sharply drained, gritty soil in full sun. Hairy species particularly resent cold, wet conditions and are best provided with some protection from winter weather.
More Info
Houseleeks are drought resistant and need little attention throughout the growing season. Divide overcrowded clumps in late spring to encourage their spread.
