Description

An attractive and drought-tolerant addition to borders, gravel gardens and containers, Sedum telephium ‘Chocolate’ boasts striking bronze foliage above which dense heads of tiny, starry pink flowers appear from late summer through to autumn, just as many herbaceous perennials are beginning to fade. The flowerheads are attractive to bees and butterflies and make a fantastic cut flower. Dried flowerheads can also be left on the plant to provide continued interest throughout winter. Autumn Stonecrop thrives in a well-drained spot in full sun. Height: 40-50cm (16-20in). Spread: 45-60cm (18-23in).

1 x 1 Litre Potted Plant (KC9143)

How to Grow
Grow sedum in a sunny position in fertile, well drained, non acidic soil that has been enriched with well rotted manure or garden compost.
More Info
When growing sedum, water regularly during particularly hot dry periods until the plants are fully established. Cut back the old stems and foliage of spreading stonecrop plants after flowering to maintain their shape. Sedum is drought tolerant once fully established. Caution: All parts are harmful if eaten.
