Description
How to Grow
This Sansevieria cylindrica has stiff cylindrical stems that have been braided to create the effect of plaited rope. It makes an unusual statement plant that is tough and unfussy, with low watering needs and tolerance of low light. Sansevieria also has excellent air-purifying properties. Height: 50cm (20in). Spread: 20cm (8in).

Sansevieria is an adaptable plant, growing happily in average room temperatures of 15C (60F) - 24C (75F). It prefers a brightly lit position with some sun and some shade througout the day, however it will tolerate full sun or shade if necessary. Sansevieria even copes well with cold draughts, making it suitable for a well used entrance hall.
More Info Sansevieria is a succulent, storing water in its foliage. Too much water can cause the plant to rot, so it is advisable to allow the soil to dry out somewhat between watering. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth.
