Description
The attractive foliage of Sagittaria latifolia makes a pleasing sight as it emerges from the water’s surface; its arrow-shaped leaves casting long reflections. This clump forming perennial bears upright stems of dainty, white, three-petalled blooms from June to August. Commonly known as Wapato, this handsome hardy perennial makes a fine marginal plant for ornamental ponds. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 30cm (12"). Planting depth: Zones 1 and 2 to 15cm (5") below water level.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

1 x 3 litre potted sagittaria plant (78427)

How to Grow
Grow Sagittaria submerged in the margins of ponds with the crown to a maximum depth of up to 20cm (8") below water level. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade.
More Info
Sagittaria requires little maintenance once established. Cut back the old foliage to just above water level in autumn to maintain a tidy appearance.
