How to Grow
Distinctive dark foliage creates a stunning contrast to the luxurious, velvety colours of Primrose ‘Obsidian Mixed’. These exceptionally hardy primulas form neat mounds of compact foliage, performing flowering fireworks from winter to early spring in an array of shades from jewel-like purples and violets to pale rose, yellow and peach. Perfect for adding swathes of colourful ground cover to borders or dotting in container displays and brightening areas around the house during those early months of the year just when you need it the most. Height and spread: 20cm (8in).
Garden Ready Plants - Our garden ready plants are selected for garden performance, straight from the nursery. We send them to you 'green' ahead of flowering (but please note some varieties may show a few blooms), which means plants will establish quickly and all their energy goes into producing better roots, so they produce more flowers throughout the season.

Plant out in a position in full sun or semi shade on any fertile, moist, well drained soil.
More Info During the winter, avoid over-watering container grown plants as this may cause the plants to rot in cold conditions. Deadhead faded primrose flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Divide over-crowded clumps of primroses from late autumn to early spring.
