How It Works:
Integrated Pest Management Strategy
Prestige Super Soil Acidifier + NWA can be used as part of an Integrated Pest Management Strategy, a natural way to improve soil structure. Prestige Super Soil Acidifier + NWA liquid encourages worms to stay below the surface, using a unique combination of nutrient and natural wetting agents whilst improving plant health and adding colour to the sward.
The product contains a combination of high iron content, nitrogen and organic sulphur, with added natural surfactants. Due to its acidity and high sulphur content is is ideal to be incorporated into an integrated pest management strategy.
An alkaline soil can encourage pests such as worm casting on the surface. Lowering the pH of soil conditions will create a less ideal environment for such problematic pests.
The product works by creating an environment that encourages worms to stay below the surface. Its unique surfactant system holds the solution in the upper structure and fixes it there before breaking down to products naturally absorbed by the plant. Under most circumstances the worms stay below the surface, but after heavy rain/irrigation the worms can come to the surface to escape the changing environment.
Prestige Super Soil Acidifier + NWA is recommended to be used when there is adequate soil moisture.
Plant Nutritional Product
The dual iron source also plays an important role in reactions involving photosynthesis, nitrogen utilisation and root growth. Prestige Super Soil Acidifier + NWA contains concentrated forms of iron producing a prolonged and rapid turf colour.
Prestige Super Soil Acidifier + NWA also contains 5% urea nitrogen for consistent growth and to help create a dense healthy sward. Giving 1.4kg/Ha of Nitrogen.
