Description
Icelandic Poppies are absolutely glorious! The flowers of Poppy 'Gartenzwerg Group' are silky and glisten in the sun. Individual plants from this attractive group may be coral, red, pink or yellow. The late spring flowers of this pretty biennial are some of the first for the mixed border, and will certainly attract comment from the neighbours! Icelandic Poppies are ideal for cutting, thanks to the upright blooms and durable stems. When cutting the blooms for indoors, sear the bottom of the stems over a naked flame to seal them. Height and spread: 30cm (12").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

2 x 1 litre potted poppy plants (T58421P)
1 x 1 litre potted poppy plant (58420)

How to Grow
When growing Icelandic Poppies, choose a sunny position in rich fertile, well drained soil.
More Info
Water Icelandic poppies regularly until fully established. Once established they will need little further attention.
