Creeping phlox are fantastic for dry, sunny spots and parched ground where other plants just won't grow! Once established, they will thrive in the driest of soils, producing masses of fragrant flowers on a spreading evergreen mat of foliage that suppresses weeds and resists drought. Use Phlox subulata 'Purple Beauty' to create a gorgeously fragrant spreading ground cover in borders, rockeries or gravel gardens. A versatile and low-maintenance hardy perennial, this creeping phlox produces a profusion of bright purple flowers from late spring into summer. Height: 15cm (6in). Spread: 50cm (20in).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
