Description

The Nurseryman's Choice Grafted Tomato Collection will provide the strongest and healthiest plants, well-equipped to shake off soil-borne diseases and provide prolific yields of delicious tomatoes.

Homegrown grafted tomatoes are a world apart from the ones you'll find in the supermarket. Sun-ripened fruits, picked from your own garden are a real treat in summer. Better still, they are one of the easiest and most productive crops you can grow.

Our Nurseryman's Choice Grafted Tomato Collection will be a selection chosen from our customer favourites - cordons for your patio pots and veggie garden, and basket varieties that you can hang right outside your kitchen door! To allow us to offer you such a good price, we can't take orders for specific varieties, but whatever we decide to send, you won't be disappointed.

How to Grow
Pot up, and grow tomato plants on in warm frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days.
Choose a sheltered position in full sun on fertile, reliably moist, well drained soil, and transplant at a distance of 60cm (24") apart. Alternatively grow tomatoes in patio bags and containers in good quality compost such as John Innes No. 2. Drive a (5') cane into the soil adjacent to each plant to support them as they grow, and tie each main stem to its support with soft garden twine.
More Info
Water tomato plants frequently, to keep the compost evenly moist. Feed tomatoes regularly with a high potash plant food once the first fruits have formed. Tomatoes can be harvested as they ripen from July to September. Dwarf bush varieties do not require staking or side shooting.
