From the American bred ‘Razzle Dazzle’ series, this flamboyant Crepe Myrtle makes a sensational summer display.This low, rounded, deciduous shrub is smothered with bright, tropical pink flowers throughout the summer that virtually cover the purple-green foliage. Lagerstroemia indica ‘Berry Dazzle' has been bred for improved hardiness, making it a safe bet for sheltered borders in the UK. This free-flowering variety also shows good resistance to mildew. A dazzling choice for bringing an exotic feel to patio containers and mixed borders. Height: 1.2m (4'). Spread: 1m (3').

How to Grow

Plant Lagerstroemia in any rich fertile soil in full sun.Although reasonably hardy once established, Crepe Myrtle enjoys a hot sheltered position and is best grown against a south facing wall or as a specimen plant in the conservatory.

Feed and water Lagerstroemia regularly particularly when grown in containers. Crepe Myrtle plants will appreciate some protection from hard frosts throughout winter. Prune in winter or spring whilst dormant to remove and dead, damaged or misplaced stems and maintain a pleasing shape.
