Description
This variegated Lawn Pennywort makes an attractive oxygenating aquatic. Thriving in the margins of ponds, it produces long creeping stems of green scalloped foliage edged with irregular cream margins that are tinged with pink at maturity. From April to June this hardy perennial will sometimes bear insignificant, greenish flowers above the water’s surface. Over time, Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides 'Variegata' will spread to form a dense mat of foliage that offers excellent cover for wildlife. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 100cm (39"). Planting depth: Zones 1, 2 & 3 to 25cm (10") below water level.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
