1 Packet (10 Hedychium Seeds) (TX07365)
For best results, provide a rich, moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade and with protection from cold winds. In frost-prone areas, either grow in containers or give winter protection by applying a thick winter mulch.
When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 60cm (24in) apart or growing on in large containers.

Still going strong 2014-02-23
This is an update, I have left the plants in pots outside and moved them to a sheltered spot to overwinter for the;last two years. I divided them last year and had spectacular display. These really are worth the wait for the first two years, for the growth and the flower displays certainly do make up for it. Highly recommended Thank you for your review. I hope we can continue to be of service.
Incredibly Lush foliage 2012-09-15
I sowed the seed just over two years ago and the wait has been worth it. I have the plants standing outside and I almost took a machete to the foliage to get to the conservatory. The flower plumes are truly beautiful and the scent is wonderful without being over powering. The problem now is turning the pots out to divide the plants as they are huge. I will try and split them to see if they will survive outside with a heavy mulch and keep half indoors , just in case!. Do try them if you have the space.
